Compasses Everybody needs a compass. Fog rolls in, bad visibility underwater or on top. A quality compass is an important piece of safety equipment for both divers and kayakers. There are different compasses for both the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere but all point the same way. Not sure how to use the lubber line and side view on some of these compasses?
