This Timer Switch turns the pump ON for about 3 or 7 seconds and OFF for about 17 or 14 seconds depending on what model you order. It is completely waterproof.
If you purchase a Complete KayaTank System, you do not need to make any connections. The Pump, Timer Switch, Wiring Harness, and Battery Cable are all connected for you. If however, you have your own bait tank, pump and battery, you can add this timer switch to your set up. The Red leads are Positive (+), Black leads are Negative (-). There must be a 5 amp fuse between the battery and the Timer Switch. The Pump is connected to the end with the LED. Your Switch and Fuse, and the Battery, are connected to the end of the Timer Switch without the LED. The LED light is illuminated when the pump is ON.
