Twisting the red lens is all it takes to activate the flasher. It's powered by two L1154 alkaline coin batteries (included) that have a burn time of 130 hours and weighs just 0.5 ounces with batteries. The body is molded in one piece with a two-way clip so the clip is virtually unbreakable. There's also a lanyard ring.
